A display manufacturer reads about innovations at a federally-funded laboratory that could replace an expensive element in their flat panel display. The research is in its early stages, but holds promise. The manufacturer cannot divert resources from ongoing operations, but may miss a key technological innovation if they don't investigate. Our transition team investigates the technology, evaluates potential cost and manufacturability issues, and helps the manufacturer acquire and implement the technology.
We identify key hurdles not just in technology development, but in each step of the implementation through customer delivery. By identifying requirements from each of the functional groups and translating those requirements to each stage of the development process we save our clients time and money.
